Chanukkah fun in Darlington
More than 40 people including a dozen children crowded into Darlington’s bijou shul for a fun filled afternoon and celebration of Chanukkah. Old and young alike enjoyed an action packed afternoon which included games and quizzes, a magic show, an improvised play dramatizing the Chanukkah story in which all the guests had a role and concluded with the lighting of the candles, prayers and songs led by the Vice-Chair, Bess Robertson. It being Darlington there was of course plenty of delicious food. A big thank you to all who came and helped make it another memorable occasion for our community.
